Roto cases are reliable, customizable, and cost-effective protective solutions. With superior durability and design flexibility, roto-cases are the preferred choice for protecting and transporting valuable equipment across various industries.
Applications
Roto-molded cases are used in:
- Military: Safe transport of sensitive equipment.
- Aerospace: Protection for delicate instruments.
- Electronics: Secure shipping of valuable devices.
- Marine: Resilience against water and salt exposure.
- Broadcasting: Equipment protection during events.
Key benefits:
The following will highlight the key features and benefits of roto cases, positioning them as the ideal solution for protective transportation needs.
1. Enhanced Durability
Roto cases are constructed using a process that ensures uniform wall thickness, which eliminates weak points often found in other molding methods. This results in stronger cases that can withstand rough handling and harsh environments, making them suitable for military, aerospace, and industrial applications.
2. Cost-Effectiveness
The roto process is generally more affordable than other manufacturing methods, such as injection or blow moulding. It requires less expensive tooling and allows for the production of cases in various shapes and sizes without significant cost increases. This cost efficiency makes roto cases a practical option for businesses.
3. Customization Options
Roto moulded case allows for extensive customization, including the ability to create cases in different colours and configurations. This flexibility means companies can design cases that meet specific needs, including internal compartments for better organization and branding opportunities.
4. Lightweight Yet Strong
Made primarily from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), roto cases are lightweight while still providing robust protection against impacts and environmental factors. This combination of weight and strength is crucial for industries that transport sensitive equipment.
5. Long Lifespan
Roto cases resist damage from solvents, acids, and UV exposure, which helps maintain their appearance and functionality over time. The colour is integrated into the material rather than being applied as a surface coating, ensuring longevity and reducing the need for replacements.
6. Stability and Safety
The production method used in roto cases reduces residual stresses in the material, resulting in more stable cases that are less prone to distortion. Additionally, the design typically features rounded corners and edges, enhancing safety during handling.
7. Watertight Design
Roto cases often have no joints or seams in their construction, making them watertight. This feature is essential for protecting contents from moisture during transportation.
In summary, roto cases provide a combination of durability, cost-effectiveness, customization options, and long-lasting performance, making them a preferred choice across various industries for transporting sensitive equipment safely.

Note: These roam alternative cases do not come with any protective sponge or foam inside.
Unlike the typical hard case that we sell, Rotomolded Cases do not come with any foam or Pick & Pluck Foam. It does come with foam padding on the interior of the case. The foam padding (1-2cm thick) do take up some space from the internal space. You can choose not to affix the interior with this foam padding.
