Bulky Item Size Restriction Guide (on MRT & Public Bus in Singapore)
Wanting to bring bulky items on MRT or Buses?
There are restriction guideline to the items and size limit that you can bring onboard the public transport in Singapore.

Items Allowed
- Luggage & Cases
- Baby Strollers & Prams
- Personal Mobility Devices (PMD)
- Foldable Bicycles
- Other bulky items (not exceeding the size 1200 x 700 x 400 mm)
Size Restriction Guide
The item must not be over the size restriction set. The item should not be more than 1200 x 700 x 400 mm.

Guideline
Do not exceed the size limit rules. The item height cannot be so high that it obstructs your view. The authorities have the right to require you to leave at their discretion. Follow instructions from staff at all times.
- Avoid peak hour if you can.
- Use the wide fare gates when entering/exiting the MRT station.
- Hold your item upright so as not to cause obstruction.
- Do not block train doors or aisles.
- Be considerate of other passengers.
When in doubt, ask.
Or to be safe, just take a Taxi or Grab to transport your bulky items.
