Cutout Template for Power Socket on Hard Case
This is a cutout template for IEC panel mount socket.

Two piece cutout template.
One piece for the outside front (with 2x M3 through holes, ⌀3mm).
The inside piece is the same dimension (with 2x M3 threaded holes)
Steps for C14 hole cut out
Do marking on the casing for the 2x M3 holes.
Drill the two M3 holes.
Place the through hole piece on the outside front, and the thread piece behind inside the case.
Secure both piece with 2x M3 screws.
Using a cutter tool and portable hand drill to cut out the main rounded corner rectangle.
The metal piece cutout template ensure that you will mis-cut the hard case
Finish off the edges with some filings.
Cut holes.
Cutout template is removed.
Installed the IEC C14 power socket outlet with 2x M3 countersank screw.
The screw length will depends on the wall thickness of your hard case and the C14 socket.
Secure with lock nuts behind.
This IEC C14 power socket comes with a waterproofing cap to cover up the pins.
